Adaptive Radiation
Adaptive radiation is the evolutionary process by which many species originate from one species in an area and radiate to different species.
Darwin’s Finches are an example of Adaptive Radiation. This example illustrates how species change overtime in response to the selective forces present in their environment. Different ecological niches lead to different species types.
