Also nowadays pretty much everything in life is Google-able, as long as you put in the energy to come up with the right search queries. If you are getting stuck for a long time despite spending lots of energy digging, it might mean that you are missing some Foundational Knowledge. Identify the knowledge you need and dig into it however works for you (bottom-up, top-down, or a combination). Also, to make Steven happy, I think we should ask more questions that looks like “Can you point me to everything you know about X” Rather than “How do I do X?”
Also “more coding” is very true hehe. I’m currently a believer that the only reliable metric for success (both in learning and in contribution to the team) is the number of high-quality commits/PRs merged. Everything else either supports this or is an unnecessary process.
