Digital Computing
Digital refers to where a signal, such as a voltage, is not used to directly represent a value (as it would be in an analog computer).
Digital computers represent varying quantities symbolically and by discrete values of both time and amplitude.
Why Digital Signal (Advantages)
All read life signals are analog. However, there are several advantages to using digital systems.
- Noise Immunity
- Uses less bandwith
- Encryption
- Higher efficiency for long distance transmission
