Went there once. Went again on Jan 3rd-Jan 5th 2026.

Observation: There’s something about the eyes of canto girls that make them attractive tome.

During this, I tried to speak to as many people.

I saw this cute girl from hunan who was working in hangzhou. Taking up the courage. The people I met were incredible.

Empathy sory

On my hong kong trip, I went to 3 different iphone stores to buy an iphone for my friend in Hong kong, since my credit card kept getting declined. The best option was to buy it online with his credit card, but that option didn’t work. Then, I had to ask my firend to pay for it. Then, when it came time to reimburse, it was also hard, cuz they needed a line on the bank transaction. Then when it came to returning, they chose with the cheap option. Instead of the UPS I told them about, they did the sendle + ICS shit, i was like wtf. so i went to UPS, then Farah foods, then the convenience stores ( 3 trips AGAIN).

You can imagine from my side how annoying things would be, how pissed i was.

But from their perspective: this is what they use for delivery, and they had no issues with the delivery. Keep good margins. And the reimbursements, that’s just how they have to do things. From his perpsective, he didn’t anticipate it had to be this annoying. So it’s more about the situation, there’s nothing too bad that he did. I forgive him. Apart from the UPS stuff. But from his perspective, it was equally easy. But I also had to go to DC to get a printer. IT was fckn annoying.

But yea practicing empathy is good because you become less angry and more understanding of people when the people are good, and then rationalize how to explain things to them without coming off as a total dickhead. And if they are able to do the same, that’s really good and you both can improve for next time. I think julien saw how frustrated i was and was apologetic and really thankful
