After talking with Preston, I am realizing that talking about these concepts is not enough. It gives you a primer on the concepts you need to learn, but you’re never going to learn just by talking. You need to take a course, read a textbook, go through the internet.

Learning by talking is never as productive. However, if you already know a concept, it is useful to validate your understanding by talking to someone else, like what you did when you have the call with Dave tonight.
