Rule of 3rds

I heard this on a podcast, from an olympian. Whenever you’re chasing a big dream:

  • 1/3 of the time, you should feel good
  • 1/3 of the time, you should feel okay
  • 1/3 of the time, you should feel like shit

If you feel roughly in those ratios, it means you are in fact chasing a dream. Else, adjust.
