Shiny object syndrome is the situation where people focus all attention on something that is new, current or trendy, yet drop this as soon as something new takes its place.

I feel that a lot of the Machine Learning field suffers from this. I don’t want to be victim of the shiny object syndrome. I want to learn things that are Machine Learning field suffers from this. I don’t want to be victim of the shiny object syndrome. I want to learn things that are Evergreen.
