Structure From Motion (SfM)
I thought this was very similar to Optical Flow, but apparently not.
SfM aims to reconstruct the 3D structure of a scene and the camera’s motion from a sequence of images.
Is this how dense SLAM works?
- Dense SLAM techniques can incorporate principles similar to Structure from Motion (SfM) and Optical Flow for depth estimation, motion tracking, and 3D reconstruction
