I was buying a gift for Jon’s parents with Chester, and got the chance to learn a little bit more about wine informally.
This lady was telling me about developing your palette.
When you drink wine standalone, you want it to be a little less bitter.
Why are certain wines more expensive than others?
- The lady made an excellent comparison with buying clothes. It’s the difference between mass-manufactured and custom built. You are paying extra for the Craftsmanship.
- The same difference on why a t-shirt can cost 10 for another brand. The quality of course has some difference, but it is not huge
- I mean really any analogy, why does a burger can vary from 5? It’s the ingredients
The same dryness that comes from drinking grape juice, is this same dryness that you might taste in wine.
