White Collar Crime
- Crimes committed by people of high social position relating to their occupations
- Generally treated leniently
Corporate Crime
- Illegal actions of a corporation of people acting on its behalf
- Pollution, occupational disease, death
- Often unpunished or fined
Organized Crime
- Business supplying illegal goods and services
Laws exist to protect the environment, workers, and consumers, not just rich. Deviance does not just exist in capitalist societies.
