SSD

Nonvolatile Memory Express (NVMe)

An NVMe SSD uses the NVMe protocol to transfer data very fast.

NVMe vs. PCIe?

NVMe operates over the PCIe bus. I don’t quite get the difference.

Saw this when trying to figure out the architecture for the Jetson. https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/jetson-orin-nano-developer-kit-boot-from-nvme/250744

Difference with SSD?

NVMe is a protocol designed for fast access to storage media, used by SSDs. SATA SSD is a type of SSD that uses the SATA interface, which is slower than NVMe.
