Periodic motion/harmonic motion is a motion that repeats after a finite amount of time.
An oscillation is one complete back-and-forth motion.
Frequency: Number of oscillations completed in one second. Period: Time it takes to make 1 complete oscillation.
Relationship between frequency and period: frequency = 1/period
