Pegword Method
Mnemonic that memorizes a fixed set of “pegwords” tied to numbers, then hangs new items onto those pegs with vivid images.
Example
Classic rhyme: one is a bun, two is a shoe, three is a tree. Need to remember “milk” first? Picture a bun stuffed with milk. “Keys” second? Picture keys in a shoe.
Same principle as the Method of Loci: an already-memorized structure scaffolds new content, and the weirder the interactive image, the stickier the association.
