Diode
Electrical component that only allows the flow of current in one direction.
The most popular diode is the LED (light-emitting diode)

What is a diode
- Diodes Explained by Engineering Mindset Two ends, anode and cathode.
Diode only allows current to flow in one direction.
- Forward bias → acts as a conductor
- Reverse bias → acts as an insulator
Coper wire is easy to move free electrons through
Rubber insulation doesn’t allow electrons to pass through.
P-Type and N-Type doping. Anode and Cathode, P-Type doped silicon on the left side, and N-Type on the right side.
