Kernel Density Estimation (KDE)

Heard about this term a few times, but I don’t think I ever used it.

We do density estimation, they talked about this in the Normalizing Flow lecture

  • Importance Sampling
  • Bayesian Inference

The above two give you implicit representations, you can use a Normalizing Flow to have explicit representation.
