Humanities / Social Science

I quite enjoyed my Humanities classes at Marianopolis College.

Humanities gives meaning to life through its analysis.

But I am a bit confused on whether it actually creates any big tangible value in society. I learn all of these topics which are super interesting, but I haven’t really applied them yet.

Difference between social science and humanities?

The humanities typically are considered more critical and analytical, dealing with the philosophical question of what makes us human.

The social sciences, on the other hand, use a more scientific approach, essentially applying similar methodology as the natural sciences to the study of humans in society.
